Cosine's Power Wave

The LiveScience website has a new article posted yesterday on the science of the Law of Attraction titled "The Pseudoscience of 'The Secret'". I think the publishing of this article exemplifies the problem we have today between those that claim they live to an objective existence (all people live subjective existences) and those that think their subjective experience can be objectified by "science" so that they can "prove" it to others.

Don't be too proud of this ideological terror you've elected. The ability to lead a nation is insignificant next to the power of the people.

And remember that the more things "Change", the more things stay the same.

In other words, the power to change this nation is in us as people, and I am specifically trying to imply that our power to effect change is not practiced in a voting booth.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled fanaticism. Please let go of my neck.

I am setting up my third blog here at http://www.cosinewave.org/, though this may end up being a temporary URL until I decide on a permanent one http://power.cosine.org/. Why a third blog? I want a separate forum to discuss philosophy, religion, and universe truths independent of my personal news and technical blogs.

I hope to have some pretty useful and interesting content up here soon now that I have the basic site up. However, I'm still getting use to the software I'm using here, too. Until I have some more configuration figured out I will hold off on the official launch—this site is in beta.
